While researching the life and ministry of Martin Holdt—a beloved pastor and gifted preacher—we came across an unexpected treasure: the manuscripts of radio programs for women, written and presented by his first wife, Beryl, for Trans World Radio in the 1980s. These devotions reveal her unwavering commitment to the truth of God’s Word, a compassion for her fellow sisters in Christ, and her earnest concern for the unconverted. Originally, we planned to include a chapter about Beryl in IRSA’s 2025 volume on her husband Martin, but the depth and beauty of her material compelled us to create a separate collection. This book is the result: a carefully curated selection of her devotions, preserved here so that her biblical wisdom and love for Christ may continue to bless others.
