Christians are on the frontlines of spiritual warfare, as half-truths, subtle compromises, and outright heresy threaten to corrupt the church. In South Africa, we are seeing firsthand how the church is growing lukewarm, becoming conformed to the world, rejecting the authority of Scripture, and abandoning her First Love. God's command is clear: "hold fast!" Hold fast to the Word (1 Corinthians 15:2); hold fast to the hope set before us (Hebrews 6:18); hold fast what we have (Revelation 2:25). The aim of this conference is to encourage Christians, church leaders and pastors in South Africa to hold fast to the Word of Life that they might shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:16), and that no one may seize their crown (Revelation 3:11).
